Imagene is seeking a senior translational leader to define and drive integration of cutting-edge AI capabilities into healthcare-driven projects and AI-based solutions.
This role sits at the intersection of biology, clinical development and AI. You will shape how Imagene’s AI capabilities translate into pharma-ready discovery and development solutions, evidence generation strategies and clinical integration pathways.
You will work closely with executive leadership, product, science teams and strengthen Imagene’s strategic positioning in the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Translational & Clinical Strategy: Define and drive Imagene’s AI-based solutions across oncology and drug development use cases. Translate AI capabilities into meaningful applications by aligning biomarker strategies, evidence generation plans and clinical development.
- Case Studies & Evidence Packaging: Design and lead high-impact case studies that demonstrate clinical and translational value. Define study objectives and evidence generation approach, and translate results into clear, pharma-ready outputs.
- Thought Leadership & External Visibility: Lead scientific communications including publications, conference presentations, invited talks and webinars. Represent Imagene externally with credibility and clarity, translating complex science into compelling, decision-relevant messaging for pharma audiences.
- New Offerings & Portfolio Strategy: Drive cross-functional alignment on the strategy for new translational and clinical offerings aligned with pharma discovery and development needs. Work with product and science teams to identify unmet needs, define requirements, and support prioritization based on customer feedback and market dynamics.
Requirements
- MD or PhD in life sciences, biomedical sciences, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech, including clinical development and translational strategy - Mandatory
- Deep understanding of oncology drug development, biomarker strategies and clinical trial design.
- Demonstrated experience translating biological insights and complex data into program-level decisions.
- Experience integrating multi-omics and/or real-world data into clinical strategy.
- Track record of leading cross-functional organizations or building new capabilities.
- Strong external presence and ability to engage credibly with pharma leadership.
- Strategic mindset with hands-on scientific depth.
