Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees department-wide technology projects.
  • Works with departments to understand user requirements.
  • Proposes technical solutions.
  • Gathers information and provides estimates for project completion.
  • Contacts and manages relations with outside contractors for project completion.
  • Coordinates project from proposal stage through installation.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Program Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple, complex research-related programs, projects, resources from initiation to completion, ensuring milestones, timelines, budget, and deliverables are met.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Develop metrics and KPIs to track program performance and outcomes. Provide data-driven recommendations to improve program delivery and resource allocation.

Risk Management:

  • Collaborate with compliance, legal, and administrative offices to ensure research integrity and regulatory adherence.

Change Management:

  • Lead the design and implementation of change management strategies that support the adoption of new systems, policies, and processes across research teams.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Communicate program value, status, and risks to stakeholders, fostering team collaboration.

Strategic Planning & Road mapping:

  • Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for research initiatives.
  • Align program objectives with institutional priorities and provide visibility into program progress and future opportunities.

Analytics:

  • Leverage analytics to support and optimize research activities, often in clinical or research settings.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five years of experience in implementing technical requirements to support business applications OR a bachelor's degree and three years of experience in implementing technical requirements to support business applications.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs.  Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
