Job Description:

Position Summary: The Clinical Strategy & Market Operations Manager will support the implementation, tracking, and optimization of sub-capitated and risk-based partnerships across agilon’s markets. This role will focus on operational support, data coordination, and stakeholder communication to ensure program success under value-based care arrangements.

Essential Job Function:

  • Operational Support:
    • Maintain documentation, workflows, and training materials to support consistent execution.
    • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance program efficiency.
    • Support compliance tracking and contract adherence efforts.

  • Data Coordination & Reporting:
    • Compile and validate program performance data for internal and external reporting.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Coordinate communications with market teams, providers, and internal stakeholders.
    • Prepare presentations and updates for executive presentations and working groups.

  • Knowledge Management:
    • Contribute to the development of knowledge hubs and best-practice repositories
    • Assist in capturing and sharing learnings from market implementations and network clinical engagements.

  • All other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Minimum Experience
  •  2+ years in healthcare operations, program management, or strategy; value-based care or clinical programs experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in healthcare administration, business or related field preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and process-management skills
  • Proficiency in data collection, validation and reporting
  • Ability to interpret performance metrics and summarize trends
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to streamline processes or improve outcomes
  • Capable of managing multiple workstreams and deadlines effectively
  • Language Skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal to work with multiple internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.
  • Computer Skills: Ability to create and maintain documents using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.) Ability to work with data platforms or dashboards for performance reporting.

Pay Range:

$100,000.00 - $122,600.00
