Monitor data metrics and prepare dashboards for relevant quality metrics. Monitor compliance with Quality metrics as assigned by leadership. Support Quality Committee and Clinical Councils related to quality metrics. Obtain data from existing/future organizational information systems to support/enhance clinical and business decisions. Work with Neurosciences depts and leadership on quality process improvement projects as requested by leadership.
Licensure or other certifications: Current RN license in the state of Georgia
Educational Requirements: Graduate of state accredited school of nursing, Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Experience: Three (3) years experience with Bachelor's or Five (5) years experience with Associate's.

Preferred Experience: Medical coding experience, Project management experience, Clinical training, data collection or analysis. Strong Excel Skills.
Other: Masters Degree or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Mgt, IT, or Nursing

Assures the production of clear and concise appropriate quality dashboards. Ensures appropriate data is represented and entered on respective quality dashboards including, but not limited to, registry metrics, patient experience metrics, and Quality metrics. Develops structured process for specific requests, information or studies. Responsible for providing quality data to support the Neuroscience Service Line certification programs, and all other registry/state data deposits. Uses existing reporting dashboards for analysis. Creates new dashboards or reports as needed to achieve quality metrics for process improvement projects. Facilitates said collaboration for process improvement.
Provides support to Neurosciences services staff as required for service line quality functions. Supports staff and encourages in them a sense of ownership of their work process. Creates and supports an environment that enables the department to fulfill its mission and meet or exceed its goals. Supports and develops analytical abilities of staff based on data extraction and analysis. Models' professionalism and positive interactions with all levels of staff. Develops positive peer relationships with manager team within NGHS, data team, and the Neuroscience service line. Monitors data submission to registries to ensure accuracy
Supports Process Improvement projects for Services as defined by the director. Collects, maintains, and presents data information and analysis for continuous improvement in patient outcomes. Maintain and provide analysis of stroke metrics, reports, graphs, and dashboards. Performs extensive electronic medical record reviews to support data collection and reporting.
Ensures that the Neuroscience Database program is in compliance with internal organizational policies and external agencies to meet regulatory requirements and expectations. Assures compliance with DNV and other regulatory bodies. Maintains system confidentiality with all PHI and registry data. Assigns weekly cases to the Neuroscience abstractors and ensures completion. Understands and articulates the regulatory measures and navigates the registry with mastery.
Provides support for meeting system goals pertaining to patient experience. Ensures data reporting validity and accuracy to support patient experience and safety.
Generates reports and analyses for the Neuroscience Service Line as it pertains to various pay for performance metrics as requested by Neuroscience leadership. Assists with data dashboards, collection of data, and disseminates appropriate information as needed.
