Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Hospice Quality Coordinator, to join our Hospice team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.   

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for departmental Quality oversight and initiatives, ongoing education of team members, and orientation of new hires. In addition, this position is responsible for the organization, implementation and oversight of various departmental projects, project management tools and staff resources

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30p

The position is primarily remote, but the individual may be asked to come onsite for in-person meetings or surveys (e.g., State or Joint Commission).

Required Qualifications:

  • Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
    • Work experience as a registered nurse for at least 2 years
    • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in hospice or quality
  • Licensure/Registration/Certification:
    • Current MN RN license
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain working relationships with peers and constituents at different levels of the organization
    • Proven ability to plan, coordinate, problem solve and prioritize work
    • Excellent organizational skills, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
    • Able to independently create, organize and implement various projects and processes
    • Proven computer experience with Outlook, Excel graphing and spread sheet
    • Proven ability with oral and written communications to all levels of the organization
    • Highly flexible able to handle and manage a high degree of change
    • Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and other reimbursement sources

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two years of experience working with quality and compliance initiatives
  • Two years of experience planning and supporting projects and project management
  • Demonstrated analytical planning, organization, and communication skills
