Overview

Join Our Team as a Quality Assurance LPN

Is it important to you that patients receive safe, high-quality care? Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about compliance, documentation, and continuous improvement? If you’re an LPN who wants to make an impact behind the scenes—without routine hands-on patient care—this role may be exactly what you’re looking for.

We’re seeking a Quality Assurance LPN who is ready to support excellence in hospice care by strengthening clinical integrity, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives across our organization.

What You’ll Do

As a Quality Assurance LPN, you’ll blend your clinical nursing knowledge with quality and regulatory expertise to help ensure our patients receive the safest, most compliant care possible. You will:

  • Conduct routine audits of patient medical records using strong critical-thinking skills

  • Review incident reports, infection control data, occurrences, and complaints to identify trends and improvement opportunities

  • Assist with corrective action plans, root cause analysis, and QAPI initiatives

  • Support regulatory compliance with state, federal, Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party standards

  • Assist with audits including TPE reviews, long length of stay reviews, and Part D drug reviews

  • Prepare QA and compliance reports as directed by the QA Director

  • Support staff education by helping develop tools and guides related to documentation and compliance

  • Monitor infection control practices and assist with required state and national reporting

  • Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows and maintain survey readiness

This role rarely to never involves patient contact, offers remote work flexibility as needed, and is ideal for an LPN who enjoys analysis, documentation, and quality improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program

  • Current, unrestricted state LPN license

  • 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably with chart review, QA, or clinical documentation

  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation standards

  • Experience with EMR systems and data reporting tools

  • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint preferred)

  • Willingness to grow critical-thinking and regulatory knowledge

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

And just like all of our team members, our Quality Assurance LPNs enjoy supportive leadership, collaboration with experienced clinical professionals, and meaningful professional development opportunities—with plenty of room to grow.
