Overview

Internship Program: HealthEdge offers a structured paid 12-week virtual internship program that will allow you to help drive meaningful and strategic project work that delivers real impact to our teams, customers, and business, while having fun along the way! You will support the Delivery team and will also get exposure to various departments and strategic initiatives through our Discover HealthEdge weekly series. Interns will also participate in our three-day Innovation Challenge and a final internship project presentation to showcase the impact you’ve made. Additionally, we provide workshops focused on resume writing, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, and more!

 

 

Your Impact

  • Identify quality issues and trends within the Appeals & Grievances (A&G) process, starting with grievance‑related work.
  • Review and help refine existing quality‑assessment processes to improve how issues are identified and evaluated.
  • Assist in developing remediation steps and solutions for the QA issues uncovered in A&G workflows.
  • Create simple monitors or trackers to continuously track trends, evaluate whether remediations are effective, and surface any new issues that emerge.

 

What You Bring

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Health Administration, Health Services Administration, Public Health, Healthcare Compliance, or related major
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Strong desire to dive in and help the team
