As a Director of Clinical Project Management within our Imaging division, you will lead the strategic and operational oversight of partnership accounts, ensuring the delivery of a seamless customer experience. In this role, you will partner closely with senior client leaders to understand strategic objectives, align internal delivery teams, and drive continuous improvement across programs. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, a mentor to project management staff, and a champion of operational excellence across the organization.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with assigned imaging partnership accounts.

  • Lead development, communication, and execution of program plans, including success metrics and governance standards.

  • Maintain deep understanding of imaging capabilities, processes, and technologies to guide clients and internal teams.

  • Analyze operational performance, identify organizational needs, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

  • Drive continuous improvement through ownership of strategic initiatives and cross‑functional workstreams.

  • Conduct stakeholder and client satisfaction surveys; analyze findings and recommend improvements.

  • Partner with Business Development to support RFP input, proposal strategy, scoping, and bid defense preparation.

  • Guide internal teams on client‑specific requirements including templates, communication plans, data standards, reporting, and process expectations.

  • Ensure all Project Managers assigned to the client are properly trained and aligned on client-specific guidelines.

  • Mentor Clinical Project Managers and Assistant Clinical Project Managers to support professional growth.

  • Provide input into onboarding project planning and staffing for key accounts.

  • Manage escalations with urgency, ensuring root‑cause analysis and proactive preventive measures.

  • Monitor program execution, performance, timelines, and budgets; work with leadership to reprioritize as needed.

  • Develop and present meaningful operational metrics to senior leadership.

  • Support standardization of processes and best practices across therapeutic and operational areas.

  • Collaborate with finance on forecasting standards and with scientific/medical liaisons to align program needs.

  • Provide timely updates to internal teams on project status, risks, escalations, and client developments.

  • Support risk management, contingency planning, and resolution recommendations for senior leadership.

  • Contribute to SOP adherence, updates, and departmental quality standards.
     

What We Look For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health‑related field or management; advanced degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of clinical research experience, including at least 3 years in client relationship, program management, or related leadership roles.

  • Experience supporting multinational operations preferred.

  • Strong negotiation, influence, and relationship‑building capabilities.

  • Working knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and FDA regulations.

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical terminology, as well as clinical trial processes.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; comfortable managing shifting priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
