Job Description:

The Data Analyst will be responsible for profiling, validating, and assuring the quality of complex datasets to help the organization make informed business decisions. The candidate will work closely with various departments to identify data inconsistencies, support remediation activities, and ensure data accuracy for eligibility, enrollment, and downstream systems. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • U.S Citizenship required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
  • This position is remote but may require occasional onsite meetings in McLean, VA.
  • You can be based out of following states: AZ, DC, FL, GA, OH, ME, MD, SC, TX, UT, VA, NC, OK, WV.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in data analysis or a related role with a focus on data quality or validation.
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL and experience supporting ETL/ELT data transformations.
  • Strong understanding of data profiling, validation, and reconciliation techniques.
  • Experience working with pipeline artifacts and scripts managed in GitHub.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a government contracting environment.
  • Experience with Kubernetes-run data jobs and Docker-based pipeline packaging.
  • Familiarity with Redis lookup caching and ArgoCD-based deployment flows.

Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management:

  • Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across migration and operational datasets.
  • Maintain and update Oracle-based databases and data systems using schema and version control practices.

Data Analysis:

  • Perform detailed analysis on large datasets to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and reconciliation gaps.
  • Use Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, along with ETL/ELT data transformations, to validate and reconcile data.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Develop and present reports, dashboards, and data quality metrics to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Support pipeline quality assurance and telemetry review using tools such as Grafana and Dynatrace.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data validation rules and remediation requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance frameworks.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data quality, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve ETL/ELT processes and data quality controls.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies in regulated enrollment and eligibility environments.
  • Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information used in operational pipelines.
