Position: Cardiovascular Clinical Data Abstractor – 16 hours/week- This role is 100%25 remote
Shift: 16 hours/week- can work 4 or 8 hour shifts Monday-Friday.
Experience:
1. A minimum 5 years’ experience in a clinical cardiology-related setting required.
2. Working knowledge of ACC/STS clinical databases required.
3. Recent, substantial and direct hospital registry data abstraction/analyst experience.
4. Experience with medical terminology required.
5. Proficient with the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Education:
1. RN preferred or graduate from a health management program preferred.
2. Pursuing a degree in a related health or medical program preferred or 10+ years related experience.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. Administrative support training preferred.
2. Supplemental training in area of specialty preferred.
3. Applicable licensure preferred but not essential with substantial and strong abstraction/analyst experience.
