Job Summary:

As the Clinical Documentation Integrity Educator, you support collaboration with providers and facilitate ongoing documentation education with the Clinical Documentation Integrity program.

As an expert in clinical documentation integrity, you will plan, develop and implement clinical documentation integrity education to providers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate of Nursing or Associate Degree in Health Information Management or related field.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of computer skills and applications, including Epic, 3M 360, and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • 2 years of inpatient coding experience.
  • RN with active state licensure OR
  • RHIA, RHIT, CDIP, CCDS or CCS certification

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Health Information Management or related field.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, HIM coding and reimbursement and EHR Systems.
  • Proficient in report monitoring, data analysis and identifying trends. Ability to use various computer systems and applications.
  • 3 years of clinical documentation integrity and/or inpatient coding experience and 1-2 years of management experience.
