As a Nurse with Integrated Wound Care, you will play an instrumental role in making a positive impact on the lives of our patients.

We are seeking an Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support to our Clinical Director. This position is full time, and is fully remote. Candidates must reside in the United States.

Assistant to the Medical Director - RN or LPN:

  • full time- Remote
  • $70k per year
  • benefits may be negotiable
  • fully remote, daily schedule variable and negotiable
  • LPN or RN
  • Wound care knowledge required
  • Wound care certification a plus
  • Nursing home experience
  • Experience using the EMR PointClickCare a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Responsibilities include:
    • clinical data entry
    • clinical chart reviews and audits
    • generating spreadsheets
    • analyze and report compliance statistics
    • daily administrative duties
    • other duties as assigned

Core Responsibilities:

  • Policy and Program Development:
    • Design, implement, and update compliance programs, policies, and procedures
  • Regulatory Expertise:
    • Stay current with complex federal (HIPAA, HITECH, CMS) and state healthcare laws and guidelines
  • Staff Training and Education:
    • Develop and deliver training for staff and contractors on policies, procedures, regulatory changes, and ethical conduct.
  • Auditing and Risk Assessment:
    • Oversee internal audits of medical records, billing, and operations for adherence to industry standards.
  • Investigation and Remediation:
    • Investigate reported compliance concerns, coordinate corrective actions, and manage risk,

Must hold active nursing license in any state. Wound care and nursing home experience preferred.

  • RN/LPN with Long Term Care experience
  • Wound Care experience necessary, Wound Certification preferred.
  • Healthcare Compliance Certification, or willingness to become certified.
  • 2+ years experience in a regulatory role, including familiarity with audits and billing.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office productivity software (Word, Excel, Power point, etc).
  • Ability to work successfully in a remote team environment
  • Home computer with reliable wi-fi and cellular service.
