Care Coordinator Specializing in Workers' Compensation

We are seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator specializing in Workers' Compensation to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating care for injured workers, ensuring they receive appropriate medical treatment and support throughout their recovery process.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for injured workers, employers, and medical providers.
  • Assess and evaluate the needs of injured workers to develop personalized care plans.
  • Coordinate medical appointments and follow-up care to facilitate timely recovery.
  • Collaborate with insurance adjusters, physicians, third party administrators, and case managers to ensure seamless communication and billing processes.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed based on recovery milestones.
  • Provide education and resources to injured workers regarding their rights and benefits under Worker's Compensation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and documentation.
  • Stay updated on Worker's Compensation regulations and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Health Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in care coordination, case management, or Worker's Compensation is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and care management software.
