About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Informatics to lead its Total Cost of Care (TCOC) function. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the company's mission to transform the kidney care system by leveraging data for early identification, engagement, and comprehensive coordinated care. This executive will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive informatics strategy that aligns with the company's value-based care, financial, and clinical goals. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Medical Economics and Data Science teams, directing all analytics related to TCOC, and leading the development of predictive models to guide population health interventions. The role also involves strategic leadership, team and organizational management, and ensuring data governance and compliance with healthcare regulations. Applicants for the VP, Informatics position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or healthcare-related field, with a preference for a Master's or Ph.D. in a STEM discipline. A minimum of 10 years' experience in healthcare analytics, informatics, medical economics, or related roles, and 8 years in TCOC analysis, HCC risk adjustment, and provider performance analytics, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in value-based care, health plans, and population health settings, as well as experience with modern data tools and platforms. Proven leadership skills, the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts, and a focus on fostering collaboration and driving results are essential.
