About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Nursing Informatics to serve as a key expert and leader in the safe and effective deployment of clinical informatics and technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting nursing and patient care clinicians, acting as a vital resource for cross-functional initiatives, and providing divisional nursing leadership support. This role requires a transactional leader who can build strategic alliances, design and implement workflows for clinical information technology systems, and ensure they meet regulatory and clinical process needs. The Vice President will also be involved in the development of implementation support strategies, integrating the clinical technology portfolio, and engaging with individual facilities to address unique clinical and operational needs. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in acute care leadership clinical informatics, with a strong preference for those with Meditech experience. A Texas RN license, national certification in nursing informatics, and a Master's degree in health informatics, business administration, or nursing are required. The role demands a candidate with expert proficiency in MediTech, technology, and clinical systems that support operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, collaboration across service lines, and the ability to manage multiple projects and a large team. Skills in project management, database software, and spreadsheet software are essential, as is the ability to be a servant leader and work collaboratively in the shared space of information technology.
