About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Nursing Informatics to serve as a key expert and leader in the safe and effective deployment of clinical informatics and technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting nursing and patient care clinicians, acting as a vital resource for cross-functional initiatives, and providing divisional nursing leadership support. This role requires a transactional leader who can build strategic alliances, design and implement workflows for clinical information technology systems, and ensure that they meet regulatory and clinical process needs. The Vice President will also be involved in the development of training strategies, integration of clinical technology portfolios, and the creation of electronic clinical protocols based on evidence-based best practices. Applicants for the Vice President of Nursing Informatics position at the company must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in acute care leadership clinical informatics, with a strong preference for those with Meditech experience. The role demands a candidate with a Texas RN license, a Master's degree in health informatics, business administration, or nursing, and national certification in nursing informatics. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, collaboration across service lines, and the ability to manage multiple projects and a large team. Expert proficiency in MediTech and a deep understanding of healthcare technology, clinical systems, and electronic health records are essential. The role also requires the ability to be a servant leader, work collaboratively in the IT space, and ensure compliance with federal and state program requirements for electronic health records.
