Full‑time position available!
This is a hybrid work position, with time primarily split between home and community work. Office requirements are minimal and limited, but can be adapted based on your work preference. The position has a flexible schedule Monday‑Friday, with no on‑call hours or weekend hours required. It requires the ability to work independently and maintain work requirements within required time frames.
Case managers work with a wide variety of individuals who may be diagnosed with a mental health, substance use, and/or co‑occurring disorder using a strengths‑based approach. They may also work with individuals who have had criminal‑justice involvement, high utilization of services, pregnant women, or women with dependent children. Efforts are made to effectively link them to needed community resources, coordinate those resources as necessary, and monitor the implementation of such. Resources may include psychiatric services, substance‑abuse services, rehabilitation services, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Medicaid, patient‑assistance programs, employment assistance, legal issues assistance, transportation, and social supports.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with a major in counseling, social work, psychology, criminal justice, nursing, rehabilitation, special education, health education, or a related human services field (a related human services field is one in which major coursework includes the study of human behavior and development).
One year of full‑time or equivalent experience working with adults experiencing serious mental illness.
Valid Florida driver’s license, appropriate automobile insurance coverage, and a reliable vehicle.
Computer skills in Windows operating systems required.
Training Requirements:
Complete AHCA‑approved mental health‑targeted case management training within three months of initially providing Medicaid services.
Within one year, obtain Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager Certification from the Florida Certification Board.
