Overview
We are looking for Immigration Case Managers to fill the role of Government Site Specialist for the Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP). This program provides supervision for individuals navigating the U.S. immigration court system, combining case management with supervision technology to promote compliance with DHS requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and coordinate case management and individual service plans for ISAP program participants in conformance with program requirements.

Engage participants through face-to-face meetings, electronic monitoring technologies, and home visits to drive court appearances and compliance with DHS conditions.

Meet with participants regularly as required by government contractual obligations.

Develop and maintain accurate and complete case records from entry to release, maintaining confidentiality.

Conduct intake interviews and orientation sessions within contractual timeframes.

Install and monitor electronic monitoring equipment as necessary and monitor compliance.

Assist participants with acquiring travel documents and maintain a log of travel document information.

Evaluate English proficiency to determine resources needed for clear communication; assess needs and connect participants with community resources.

Job Responsibilities

Use background in criminal justice, psychology, and/or social and case management to develop and coordinate ISAP program participant services.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field.

At least two years’ relevant experience in law, social work, detention, corrections, government, or similar field.

Bi-lingual language skills (Spanish or Chinese) required.

Experience dealing with multicultural clients; effective verbal and written communication with employees, community contacts, government officials, and participants.

Ability to interpret and articulate rules, orders, instructions, and materials; ability to compose reports.

Ability to maintain self-control in stressful situations; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.

Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Internet.

Ability to interpret electronic monitoring messages and daily summary reports.

Typing speed of 35 words per minute for case record data entry.

Valid active driver’s license; United States citizenship; and residency in the United States for the past 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad accepted).

Successful pass of pre-employment background check and suitability determination.
