Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and coordinate case management and individual service plans for ISAP Program Participants in conformance with program requirements.

Meet with participants face-to-face regularly as required by government contractual obligations.

Develop and maintain accurate and complete case records from entry to release, maintaining confidentiality.

Conduct intake interviews and orientation sessions with each ISAP Program Participant within contractual timeframes.

Install and monitor electronic monitoring equipment on participants and ensure compliance with the program.

Assist participants with acquiring travel documents and maintain travel document logs.

Evaluate English proficiency to determine resources needed for clear communication between staff and participants.

Assess the needs and vulnerabilities of participants and connect them with appropriate community resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field.

At least two (2) years’ relevant experience in law, social work, detention, corrections, government, or similar field.

Bilingual Spanish required.

Experience dealing with multicultural clients; effective verbal and written communication with employees, community contacts, government officials, and participants.

Ability to interpret and articulate rules, orders, instructions and materials; ability to compose reports.

Ability to maintain self-control in stressful situations; strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures; computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet.

Ability to interpret electronic monitoring messages and daily summary reports.

Typing speed of 35 words per minute; ability to maintain case records by data entry.

Valid, active driver’s license; United States citizenship; must have lived in the United States in the last 3 of the last 5 years (military and study abroad accepted).

Successfully pass pre-employment background check and obtain suitability determination.
