Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist

Responsibilities

This role will provide strategic direction for clinical transformation across all healthcare venues supporting the implementation and measuring success of the program. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading discussions regarding value priorities and executing the Value Realization Framework and strategy.
  • Use expertise with system workflow, data integration and analysis, to drive system adoption, streamline processes, and align opportunities for improvement with established goals.
  • Identify and develop Value Realization success narratives across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively assess risk(s) associated with clinical workflows that impact key performance indicators and key metrics.
  • Capture qualitative value and quick wins, in addition to quantitative KPI and key result collection.
  • Validate and provide design recommendations for reports and dashboards that will support the ongoing operational oversight for the various solutions and service areas.

Basic Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in a clinical setting, clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or a related healthcare operations role.
  • Proven track record leading clinical informatics initiatives, including system design, implementation, optimization, and support.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with clinical, operational, and technical teams to align health IT systems with patient care needs.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale EHR/EMR implementations or optimizations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clinicians, administrators, and technical staff effectively.
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position.
  • Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

To excel in this role, you may also have:

  • Board Certification in Clinical Informatics or equivalent credential.
  • Master's degree or advanced certification in Clinical Informatics, Health Informatics, or related discipline.
  • Oracle Health/Cerner EHR experience.

Expectations

Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations

Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

Eligible for licensure to practice in their field or comparable global training

Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Willing to travel 50%

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US: Hiring Range in USD from: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
