About the Role:

The RN Resident Care Manager is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing patient/resident care, administrative activities, and daily operations for assigned areas. You will ensure high-quality care delivery, support staff development, and promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and support a team of nurses and care staff, serving as a clinical and administrative resource.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, and quality of care.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support staff development.
  • Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, policies, and professional standards.
  • Manage patient care delivery, assignments, and coordination of care plans.
  • Lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, including Minimum Data Set (MDS) 3.0 documentation.
  • Optimize Medicare reimbursement through the Patient Driven Payment Model (PDPM).
  • Participate in safety, quality, and risk management initiatives.
  • Act as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license authorized to practice in Montana.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
  • Minimum of one year of unit-specific experience preferred; charge nurse or supervisor experience is a plus.
  • Experience with nursing information systems, Medicare billing, and RUGs IV preferred.
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations, clinical standards, and care delivery systems.
  • Strong organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage confidential situations with professionalism.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn other software as needed.

Shift: Day Shift - 10 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
