RN Clinical Informatics Specialist

Description

Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and IT teams to optimize health information systems

Support and assist with the implementation, testing, and training of clinical applications and EHR upgrades

Analyze workflows and recommend system enhancements to improve clinical efficiency and patient outcomes

Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clinical systems

Act as a super-user or subject matter expert for clinical IT tools

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)

Minimum of 2 years of direct nursing experience (required)

Experience as a clinical IT super-user or subject matter expert (preferred)

Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare documentation standards

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills

Proficiency in EHR systems and clinical software applications
