Kettering Health Main Campus, formerly Kettering Medical Center, is the flagship hospital of Kettering Health and has been serving Kettering, Ohio and the Greater Dayton area since 1964. The facility includes the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Heart Hospital, maternity service with a level III neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), and level II Emergency Care. Qualifications:
The Open-Heart Educator functions under direction of the Cardiac Service Line manager. This individual provides care coordination and participates in education of patients (outpatient and inpatient) with cardiac disease through the collaboration with the Cardiothoracic Surgery team.
Minimum five years clinical experience with three-five years in cardiac nursing and/or broad knowledge in cardiac disease. Demonstrated computer and electronic health documentation, data entry and management and information presentation.
BLS required.
ACLS required- Must be completed within 60 days of hire
