Overview
High‑energy, compassionate, detail‑oriented Registered Nurse responsible for planning, organizing, and directing hospice care. Utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) while coordinating with interdisciplinary team members and maintaining professional standards.

Schedule: Busiest admission days needing coverage are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Responsibilities

Respond to clinical referral information with care and expertise, addressing inquiries in a compassionate manner.

Collaborate with the Clinical Director to assess eligibility and suitability of clients for hospice services.

Coordinate comprehensive care plans, ensuring patient comfort, quality of life, and family support.

Deliver nursing care grounded in proven principles and techniques.

Educate patients and families, encouraging active participation in personalized care plans.

Participate in call duties to provide timely support when needed.

Qualifications

Current, unencumbered RN license.

Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a medical/surgical or acute care setting (hospice experience preferred).

Computer proficiency, including experience with EMR systems.

Valid CPR certification if required by state.

Compensation
$41.00 – $52.00 per hour (average). Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

Location
Service area includes Dover, Rochester, Portsmouth, Exeter, Newington, Hampton, and surrounding regions.
