$68,224.00/yr - $104,811.20/yr

Overview
Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is a designated critical access hospital committed to providing quality health‑care service to residents in Crawford, Franklin and Washington counties. The hospital offers a state‑of‑the‑art emergency department, modern childbirth center, critical care unit, multi‑room surgical suite, expanded cardiac rehab services, and a cancer center. A 22,500 square‑foot medical office building provides space for primary‑care physicians and visiting specialists from the St. Louis area. The hospital also operates four rural health clinics, a comprehensive Therapy and Rehabilitation department, and an award‑winning Wound Care Center with two hyperbaric chambers. The Social Services Department enhances the delivery of comprehensive services, including discharge planning, financial resources, and home‑care options.
Role Purpose
Coordinates, negotiates, procures and manages patient care to achieve quality, cost‑effective outcomes. Works collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary staff—both internal and external—to identify and resolve issues. Performs and provides consultation regarding Utilization Management and Performance Improvement programs to obtain optimum value for patients and reimbursement sources.
Responsibilities
Assesses, coordinates, and evaluates each patient's plan of care.
Establishes, continuously evaluates, and documents an individualized discharge plan.
Ensures clinical documentation and cost‑effective use of hospital resources.
