Overview The RN identifies patient needs and prioritizes care based on continuous assessment, executes therapeutic physician orders and nursing interventions. The RN evaluates the patient’s response to care and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for patient care outcomes during their shift.
Qualifications License, certification and/or registration: Must hold and maintain a current Alabama Nurse License. Must also maintain a current Alabama Driver’s License and automobile liability insurance.
Experience: At least one year of nursing experience.
Additional skills/abilities: Ability to lift, position, and transfer patients, as well as lift supplies and equipment. Must be capable of prolonged walking or standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Visual acuity and hearing must be sufficient to perform nursing duties.
