Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
TERRITORY IS KANSAS
We are looking for a Floating Registered Nurse needed for our Home Health Department. The territory is Kansas which could include, Overland Park, KCK, Prairie Village and surrounding area(s) or anywhere in our Kansas territory. This is a full time position with benefits.

Ratio:
1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
Essential Functions:
Performs assessments and procedures, which require substantial specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skill based upon principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences.
Develops working relationships with discharge planners and social service workers.
Assesses and reviews the matching of employee skills to client needs.
Visits in home clients to evaluate the quality of care being provided and reviews clinical notes.
Completes nursing initial and ongoing assessments of all in home clients within specified deadlines.
Participates in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient.
Minimum Requirements:
Licensed to practice as an RN in the state MO and KS or have a compact license or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire. The License must be active and in good standing.
Twelve (12) months of accumulated experience as a registered nurse within the last five (5) years or, if no experience within the last five (5) years, evidence of current (within the last 12 months) clinical knowledge as deemed appropriate by the DHCS.
Two (2) years of nursing experience preferred.
Able to provide proof of valid driver’s license.
Must have a passion for Home Health and caring for the elderly population.
Must have current CPR certification.
Must have at least one year of Home Health, Med Surg or ICU experience.
