Our client is seeking Behavioral Care RN (Registered Nurse).
Client's Available Hours Responsibilities Nursing Assessments: Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of individual's mental health and substance use needs, including physical health assessments (PHR).
Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans, often in collaboration with a psychiatric prescriber or physician.
Medication Management: Administer medications prescribed by MCMHA prescriber/psychiatrist, monitor patient responses, and document any adverse reactions.
Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medications, treatment plans, and coping strategies.
Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support and intervention during mental health crises.
Qualifications / Skills & Experience RN in the state of MI and education equivalent to a fouryear degree preferred
One (1) year of work experience with adults and children with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.
Computer skills required.
Experience in treatment of individuals with mental illness and persons with developmental disabilities required.
Experience with multidisciplinary treatment teams required.
