The RN Care Coordinator (Pediatric Pulmonology) reports to the Ambulatory Service Manager. Under general supervision, the RN Care Coordinator provides coordination of care for pediatric patients under the care of Pediatric Pulmonology service within the various units of the Children's Hospital and MUSC Pediatric Clinics. This role facilitates care through participation in clinics, individualized goal-directed care utilizing principles and practices of the nursing process, interacts with interdisciplinary team members to achieve desired results, and assumes responsibility for educational programs and discharge teaching required to meet identified patient, staff, and organizational outcomes within the Children's Hospital and Children's Services Ambulatory Care.
