Position Overview
Join the HEDIS Non-Clinical Team at Superior HealthPlan in Texas to support the MY2025 HEDIS Hybrid Project. This team plays a critical role in improving health plan ratings by retrieving and processing medical records that contribute to member compliance and measure performance. You’ll work closely with a medical record retrieval vendor to resolve “pended” chases and ensure successful record collection. This is a fast‑paced, high‑impact project with a collaborative and passionate team.
Key Responsibilities
Call provider offices to request/validate facility and provider addresses and collect medical records
Enter updated address information into internal systems
Upload received records and document outreach efforts
Work with MS Excel for tracking and reporting
Support quality improvement reporting and respond to related inquiries
Perform audits to meet state and internal requirements
Participate in meetings with state agencies, providers, and stakeholders
Performance Indicators
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Adherence to KPIs based on daily “pend” resolution volume
Required Skills
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple applications
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Strong phone communication skills (call centre experience not required)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a medical records department
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred
Valid driver’s licence

Clinical experience (this is not a clinical abstractor role)

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
