Overview Registered Nurse Utilization Management (RNUM) role at Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR). Review cases, educate patients, manage health care costs for active duty and eligible retirees at Fort Carson, Colorado Springs.
Responsibilities Review utilization management cases.
Educate patients on appropriate care.
Manage health care costs for dependents of active duty and eligible retirees.
Qualifications Bachelors in Nursing.
Active state nurse license (compact state licensure preferred).
BLS Certification.
At least 2 years experience as an RNUM (remote/hybrid preferred).
Current certification in either Completion of an accredited Certified Professional Utilization Review (CPUR) program or Certified Case Manager (CCM) issued by the Commission for Case Manager Certification.
Or 2 years full‑time broad based RN experience in utilization management review or case management setting within preceding 5 years.
Highly organized, self‑directed, strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Secure, high‑speed internet access.
Work Schedule Monday – Friday
0600 – 1700 (8 hours a day)
No nights or weekends.
