We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled RN to join Spero Hospice and care for patients and families during one of the most meaningful times of life. In this role, you’ll provide hands-on care, manage symptoms, and be a steady source of support — right where patients feel most comfortable.

Responsibilities Visit patients at home to assess needs and manage symptoms
Create and adjust care plans that fit each patient’s situation
Provide hands-on nursing care that focuses on comfort, dignity, and quality of life
Work closely with our medical director, social workers, and hospice aides to ensure seamless care
Support and guide families through the hospice journey with compassion and clarity
Advocate for each patient’s wishes, values, and cultural traditions
Take part in team meetings to share updates and coordinate care
Teach families what to expect and how they can best help their loved one
Keep thorough, timely documentation to support quality care and compliance
Qualifications Must be willing to drive
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
2–3 years of clinical nursing experience (hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred)
Knowledge of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members
Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and related healthcare software
