Summary: The quality improvement Specialist shall ensure the quality-of-service delivery and internal operations are in line with regulatory standards and operational expectations.
Interrelationship: Must coordinate and interact with program staff, administration, and leadership to report findings, gather information and data.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Job Skills:
• Ability to design and manage feedback mechanisms (e.g., surveys, focus groups), and analyze feedback.
• Experience with computer databases to track and analyze data.
• Proficiency in developing audit tools, tracking findings, ensuring compliance, and following up on corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
• Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills, and must be comfortable presenting regularly to healthcare staff and leadership.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
• Experience leveraging digital tools and automation platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, Power Automate) to streamline data collection, reporting, and quality reviews.
• Ability to communicate effectively with consumers and within the organization to support QI efficiency
Education/Experience:
• Minimum of 1- 3 years of experience in quality improvement, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience conducting audits preferred.
