The Quality Improvement Lead develops and executes strategic quality plans within designated areas to ensure innovative, world-renowned quality and world-class care. Location: Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities

Identify and implement strategic, service-line specific quality initiatives that support all levels of patient care.

Lead an innovative quality management and improvement program to achieve performance metric targets aligned with organizational goals.

Evaluate patterns, trends, and processes to improve patient care quality across the Health System.

Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions to complex problems, and influence leadership decisions to improve clinical outcomes.

Coordinate communication among multidisciplinary stakeholders; inform and educate regarding data analysis and improvement opportunities.

Identify, prioritize, and coordinate gap closure strategies; monitor change effectiveness and adjust as needed.

Position Summary
Reports to the Associate Director of Quality Program Coordination with guidance from senior quality leaders. Develop and execute multifaceted, service-line and area-specific strategies for clinical quality improvement, monitoring, and evaluation, ensuring regulatory compliance. Lead performance improvement initiatives and ensure consistency in assessing quality metrics.

Qualifications

Required Master’s Degree in a clinical field; clinical licensure.

2 years of relevant experience required; 4-6 years preferred.

Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and facilitation skills.

Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in high-quality, safe healthcare.

Project management experience and proficiency with quality tools (e.g., DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, PDSA).

Demonstrated track record of achieving results with complex and dynamic teams.

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; ability to learn new systems.

Maintains required continuing education credits and licensure; ability to access and analyze data reports.
