What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

Monitor and evaluate healthcare services for compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations

Conduct reviews and provide oversight for physical and behavioral health services

Collaborate with providers to offer technical assistance and training

Coordinate care with internal and external stakeholders

Assist in developing policies and procedures for behavioral health service delivery

What is Required (Qualifications):

Must possess a current license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona

Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in healthcare

Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare regulations, behavioral health service delivery, and service authorization concepts

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong analytical and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Professional experience in Prior Authorization, Concurrent Review, Retrospective Review, and Utilization Management within the healthcare industry

Familiarity with American Indian Tribes and related programs
