Position Summary
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care to adult patients within our internal medicine framework. Key Responsibilities
· Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
· Provide medication management and monitor patient progress and side effects
· Collaborate closely with internal medicine providers to ensure continuity of care
· Deliver care both in-person and via telemedicine platforms
· Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
· Educate patients and families on treatment options and care plans
· Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications
· Licensed Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in the State of Texas
· Minimum 1–2 years of psychiatric experience preferred (new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply)
· Current DEA license (or eligibility)
· Strong communication, diagnostic, and organizational skills
· Comfort with technology and telemedicine platforms
