Point Care Coordinator at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is Part-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Under the direction of a Supervisor, the Point of Care Coord utilizes professional knowledge, skills and judgment to perform a variety of technical, clerical, physical and quality assurance functions. The Point of Card Coord works independently and serves as a resource for all of point of care testing. In addition, performs training and teaching functions.

Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License California. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Chemist Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Immunohematologist Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Microbiologist Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Toxicologist Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Hematology Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Histocompatibility Scientist License. Or
Upon hire: California Clinical Laboratory Scientist Biochemistry Special License.
1 year Experience in a clinical laboratory.
Preferred qualifications
Upon hire: ASCP certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology.
Experience in teaching or training.
