Case Manager

At InspireKids, we’re more than a clinic—we’re a family-driven team working to transform the lives of children ages 4–12 navigating emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Based in Garfield Heights, Ohio, our state-of-the-art facility offers Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and community-based programs that provide a compassionate, structured, and supportive environment.
We are hiring a Case Manager to play a central role in the care and recovery of our young patients. This position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with children and families, providing behavioral health support, care coordination, and advocacy within a multidisciplinary team.
What You’ll Do
Behavioral Health Support
- Provide direct supervision and support for children in treatment
- Help implement individualized treatment plans in a structured, therapeutic environment
- Monitor and document behavior, participation, and progress
- Support activities of daily living, including hygiene and meals
- Lead structured therapeutic and social-emotional group activities
- Use trauma-informed strategies to de-escalate and respond to crises
- Escort children to sessions and appointments as needed
- Communicate with therapists and medical staff to ensure continuity of care
Care Coordination
- Serve as a liaison for families navigating mental health, legal, and school systems
- Support communication with courts, probation officers, and community providers
- Help children and caregivers access services such as education, housing, and aftercare
- Provide psychoeducation to families about behavioral health and development
- Participate in discharge planning and aftercare coordination
- Attend clinical staff meetings and contribute to treatment planning
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and service logs in compliance with policy
- Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and child welfare standards
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in behavioral health, residential treatment, or youth services (6–12 months preferred)
Key Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Capable of maintaining a safe, structured environment
- Skilled in crisis de-escalation and trauma-informed care
- Organized and timely with documentation
- Able to build trust with children and families from diverse backgrounds
- Committed to ethical standards and patient confidentiality
Licensure/Certifications
- CPR certification preferred
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
