We are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner in the Irvine area who shares our passion for providing dignified, compassionate end‑of‑life care. This person will be covering the Orange County area.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of Advanced Practice Registered Nursing
End of Life Nursing Education Program (ELNEC) – all 8 modules completed within 18 months of employment with Silverado Hospice
Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse License within the state of employment
MSN or Doctoral Degree required
Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing desired
Valid driver’s license and good driving record required; must comply with all state and federal driving regulations
Maintain a valid and active driver’s license; failure to maintain may result in reassignment, suspension, or termination in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to patient’s location
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must clear a criminal background check, physical and drug screening
May be required to work outside regular hours depending on business needs
What You’ll Be Doing
Assess signs and symptoms of discomfort, including presence of pain, and take prompt and appropriate action
Initiate plan of care; provide all services to patients/families in all settings
Provide direct Face‑to‑Face visits to referred and existing patients; contact physicians for patient updates
Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations and JCAHO standards (if applicable)
Participate in QAPI program
