Bring your nursing skills to the nonprofit sector and experience true job satisfaction as you work to increase the independence of individuals with developmental disabilities. Work from your home office, make your own schedule based on a 4 day work week, work with clients in a mix of phone support and in person visits. The Elks Home Service Program provides information, referral and advocacy services to families with children with special healthcare needs, and adults with developmental disabilities that live in the community. Help parents navigate the complicated systems that their children are involved with, and support parents as they advocate for what their children need to succeed. This position covers Bucks, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia Counties, and a company car is provided for work travel.
