Memory Care Manager

We are seeking an experienced Memory Care Manager to oversee operations/dining rooms in our beautiful Acacia Health Center!

Salary: $55,000-$75,000

This Full-Time Role Includes:

  1. Assure the provision of quality services needed and/or desired by residents, consistent with the policies and procedures established by Sagewood and Acacia Health Center.
  2. Primary contact for recruitment and onboarding new team members. Provide ongoing support, training, and supervision of all program staff including contracted staff and volunteers while maintain appropriate confidentiality.
  3. Develop and utilize Service Plans, manages medication management system, implements infection control practices and safety procedures.
  4. Maintain a positive relationship with representatives of government agencies responsible for surveying and inspecting Memory Care and Assisted Living, and with the community health delivery system; maintain quality services for residents at the level established by Sagewood and Acacia Health Center; take initiative to plan and implement innovative program services that meet resident needs.
  5. Ensure buildings and grounds are maintained in a safe, sanitary manner consistent with economics and Sagewood and Acacia Health Center policies.
  6. Develop a positive professional relationship with residents and their families, professional organizations, community groups, and other appropriate publics.
  7. Strive to attain excellence in resident satisfaction through ongoing solicitation and measurement of resident/family feedback, implementation of suggestions.
  8. May participate in the on-call schedule.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in assisted living or memory care. 2. Preferred a current Arizona nursing license OR Arizona Assisted Living Manager license (or willing to get an AL Manager license). 3. Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics, including residents and their families, community groups, government agencies, etc. 4. Ability to write clearly and concisely. 5. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with individuals and both large and small groups. 6. A broad understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of the community. 7. Ability to effectively lead and supervise staff members and to work cooperatively as part of a team. 8. A knowledge of and special sensitivity to the needs of the aging. 9. Ability to work independently with self-discipline and self-motivation. 10. Computer knowledge and skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Availability to work 5 days a week including some weekends and occasional holidays (with holiday pay).
