Our MedTech Surgical/Perioperative Clinical Consultant experiences a unique opportunity and leverage your clinical expertise in a dynamic role. This role will be providing consultation to healthcare and supply chain professionals through product validation relating to Procedure/Preference Cards. There are no sales responsibilities but having a background in consultative selling and influencing others is highly preferred. This position does not involve providing patient care.

What you will be doing in the role:

Observe procedures in the OR to assess Procedure/Preference Card accuracy.

Offer recommendations to hospital staff and supply chain teams.

Help improve OR accuracy across all campuses within the hospital system.

Access and update cards in EPIC based on your observations and analysis.

Job Requirements:

1-5 years’ experience as an Allied Health Professional (Surgical Technicians, Perioperative Nurses and/or Supply Chain Management) is highly preferred.

Associate's degree required.

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or RN license required.

Experience working with EPIC is required.

Must have experience with Procedure Cards/Preference Cards.

Must have a flexible and accommodating schedule based on client needs (required).

High-level of business acumen and professionalism required.

Ability to communicate effectively with healthcare staff to include technicians, physicians, nurses, and any support personnel.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Travel Requirement:

Assignment-based schedule with 40+ hour commitment per week. There is not a guarantee of 40+ hours per week in this role, but it is the ask.

Driving is considered a business requirement for this role. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire.

Personal vehicle required.

Preferred Attributes:

Excel experience preferred.

Ability to attend and participate in Surgical Cases is highly preferred.

Prior experience supporting medical devices preferred.

Individuals are typically required to have completed/up to date: Measles, Mumps & Rubella vaccine, Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine, Negative Tuberculosis (TB) Test, Tetanus, Diphtheria & Pertussis (Tdap) vaccine, Hepatitis B vaccine, Influenza vaccine (seasonal), and COVID-19 vaccine primary series. The potential base pay range for this role is $45.00-$49.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on qualifications, location, etc. Incentives may be offered in addition to benefits.
