This position leads the Quality Improvement program for US Family Health Plan - PacMed to drive high performance and continuous quality improvement in rating programs. USFHP - PacMed has robust quality improvement programs and governance for Department of Health Agency (DHA). The Manager is responsible for organizing governance committees and the development/ maintenance of QI program descriptions, Clinical CDRL's and related policies/procedures, including routine evaluations of QI programs and services and DHA on-site visit audit.
Responsibilities Lead the Quality Improvement program for US Family Health Plan - PacMed to drive high performance and continuous quality improvement in rating programs.
Organize governance committees and develop/maintain QI program descriptions, Clinical CDRLs and related policies and procedures.
Conduct routine evaluations of QI programs and services and support DHA on-site visit audits.
Hire and supervise staff engaged in the QI program, including program management for DHA Clinical performance, HEDIS performance, CAHPS performance and quality projects.
Contribute to quality improvement services for clients purchasing such services as the organization grows.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other relevant healthcare program.
5 years of demonstrated experience in quality improvement program planning, development and evaluation.
5 years of demonstrated experience in discernment of rules/regulations and advocacy related to quality programs.
5 years of experience in quality management principles, tools and techniques (e.g., Six Sigma, root cause analysis, PDSA, LEAN).
4 years of demonstrated leadership experience.
3 years of demonstrated experience working collaboratively with physicians and health care organizations.
Demonstrated successful project management and governance.
Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other relevant healthcare program, or 4 years equivalent healthcare quality experience.
Formal coursework/training in quality improvement, change management, and/or leadership.
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) upon hire.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
