Key Responsibilities

Work with primary stakeholders to analyze solution deployment needs, gather customer requirements, and design an integrated, scalable automation/informatics solution.

Partner with the customer regarding required infrastructure, configure applications, establish connectivity, and perform functional testing and troubleshooting.

Deliver customer training and post‑implementation technical support across informatics and automation solutions.

Serve as a subject‑matter expert in Siemens automation & informatics systems and mentor Technical Application Specialists.

Coordinate with cross‑functional teams including sales representatives, lab managers, project managers, IT personnel, Hospital Information System and Laboratory Information System personnel, vendors, and senior management.

Consult and advise customers on workflow decisions based on best practices for integration of automation and informatics solutions.

Manage fielding queries, troubleshooting, and problem resolution following escalation processes.

Travel 100% as required.

Preferred Experience

Interface protocols for ASTM and HL7, Windows Server & Desktop OS, database management, virtualization, network & device connectivity including TCP/IP, DHCP, routing, serial/ethernet, firewall, NAT.

Certification in Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Laboratory Scientist, ITF+, A+, Net+, Sec+, CySA+, CASP+ or equivalents.

Experience in hospital or laboratory information systems environment.

Strong familiarity with laboratory workflow and operations; background as a medical technologist preferred.

Excellent communication, organization, project management and attention to detail; ability to solve complex problems and translate technical issues into non‑technical terms.
