Interim Clinical Educator Patient Care Services (Geriatrics)
Responsibilities
Geriatric-focused Patient Care Services
Day shift: 08001630 (flexible based on department needs)
Leads education and competency programs for clinical staff
Collaborates with nursing leadership to identify training needs and support professional development
Designs, implements, and evaluates orientation, training, and skills validation programs
No direct patient care responsibilities
Requirements
BSN required; Masters degree strongly preferred.
Current California RN license required.
BLS and ACLS required; AG-CNS certification preferred.
25 years of recent experience in clinical education or staff development required.
Knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory standards, and The Joint Commission guidelines.
