SafeHaven is seeking a Housing Case Manager.

Responsibilities
This position delivers case management, conducts need assessments, offers legal advocacy, and provides victim assistance to individuals and families participating in the SafeLiving Housing program.

Key responsibilities include: providing case management and financial planning assistance to clients during home and office visits, offering necessary referrals and advocacy. Establishing collaborative relationships with other service providers and legal authorities to enhance client services and community involvement. Maintaining current knowledge of available community resources and sharing this information with colleagues. Offering support in training staff and volunteers as needed. Ensuring the timely and accurate documentation of case management activities and client interactions. Flexibility in working hours is essential to accommodate the schedules of employed clients and to participate in overnight weekend camps for housing children.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field.

Minimum of one year experience in case management, which includes assessing, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, group facilitation, and evaluating options and services to meet the needs of the client.

Knowledge of Intimate Partner Violence, gender-based violence, and crisis intervention strategies required.

Ability to provide culturally competent services and work with diverse staff and clientele in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner.

Strong organization and time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
