Position Summary
RN / Registered Nurse, Hospice – Dallas, TX (Full‑Time, M‑F)

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year (based on experience).

Qualifications

Associate’s degree (preferred).

Registered Nurse license required in the state(s) of practice.

Current and valid CPR certification (required in Georgia, preferred elsewhere).

Minimum one year of nursing experience (required in California, preferred elsewhere).

Previous experience in hospice, home health, general medical‑surgical or patient population‑specific nursing (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics).

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team (IDG), addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.

Maintain timely and accurate documentation of care, interventions, and patient status updates, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate care activities including visit scheduling, medication management, physician collaboration, and interdisciplinary communication to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Provide education and support to patients and caregivers, and respond to urgent needs during on‑call or admissions assignments.

Supervise LPNs, LVNs, and hospice aides as needed, and participate in IDG meetings, patient conferences, and ongoing clinical education.

Support pre‑hospice services by evaluating patient status via phone, telehealth, or in‑person visits and identifying needs for additional care or services.
