Position Overview Hospice Nurse (weekend Baylor position) - Work 24 hours/week and get paid for 32 hours/week!
Flexible hours: Saturday and Sunday (every weekend)
Duties include: hospice patient visits and admissions in various settings: inpatient, facility, and homes.
Responsibilities Identify patient/family needs and provide supportive care per physician's orders and policies.
Gather clinical information from records and staff to understand patient/family situations requiring intervention.
Communicate effectively with the primary nurse and team members.
Coordinate patient activities with clinical staff to ensure consistency.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Maintain required certifications for the role.
Transport self to patient locations as needed.
Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts in good standing.
Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
At least three years of nursing experience, including one year in an acute setting preferred.
Ability to assess and respond to patient and family needs.
Skilled in nursing practice and emotional support.
Understanding of hospice philosophy.
Self-directed, flexible, team-oriented.
Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $40—$52 USD/hour. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, student loan paydown, retirement plans, and more.
