Overview BrightStar Care is looking to add Registered Nurses to our team to work as hospice nurses in the Miami/North Miami areas. We are seeking compassionate individuals to support patients and their families as a hospice nurse on our team. This position may require driving to a variety of locations within an approximate 25 mile radius centered around Hialeah.

Responsibilities Monitor patient conditions and assess needs to deliver optimal care and advice
Perform routine procedures (e.g., blood pressure checks, administering injections) and maintain patient records
Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders
Provide immediate medical care in emergencies
Create a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families
Requirements Active Florida RN license
AHCA Level 2 fingerprinting clearance
Physical examination completed within the past six months
Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest X-ray
Minimum of one (1) year documented experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility
Previous hospice experience preferred (we will train)
Previous experience with hospice nursing is preferred
Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays
Reliable transportation
Physical ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed, based on client mobility
