Overview Hospice Nurse - Full-Time, Days
Charlotte Hospice - Charlotte, NC
Schedule: 8:00am-5:00pm, Day Shift
Sign-on bonus up to $7,500 + Relocation assistance up to $7,500. Deliver compassionate care in the home for hospice patients and support to their loved ones in accordance with approved standards of care, policies, physician orders, and plan of care.

Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in their homes
Support patients’ families with education, comfort, and resources
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, quality care
Uphold dignity, comfort, and compassion at every step

Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred
Experience: Two years direct patient care in medical-surgical nursing required; home care or hospice experience preferred
Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state required
Skills: Ability to provide direct patient care with excellent nursing skills; strong communication, problem-solving, and basic math skills; understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care; ability to interpret patient care needs by age; ability to prioritize and manage varying situations; flexible, adaptable, and able to travel between locations; after-hours availability on a rotational basis; valid computer skills and reliable transportation
